Posten Bring makes changes to the group management

Two new executive directors join the corporate management team at Posten Bring. Heidrun Larsen Reisæter joins as the new executive director for Digital Technology and Security, while Randi Bjerkeland Skagemo takes on the newly created role of executive director for Customer Experience.
“I am pleased that two important roles in the corporate management are being filled by two experienced leaders. Both Heidrun and Randi have experience and expertise that will strengthen the diversity in the corporate management and add new fresh perspectives to our discussions and the further development of the group,” says Petter-Børre Furberg, CEO of Posten Bring.
Heidrun Larsen Reisæter takes on the role of Executive Vice President for Digital Technology and Security. Heidrun comes from NAV (Norwegian Labour and Welfare Administration) where she has been Director of Technology and part of the senior management team, before that she was Director of Technology at NRK where she was also a member of NRK’s senior management team. Before NRK she spent six years at VG where she was, among other things, Head of Digital Services and Growth.
“With Heidrun, we gain solid technology expertise and a leader with experience from large, complex organisations. She will build on a solid foundation that has been developed over several years with us, and at the same time she has a good vision for the role in our group where she will work with a very competent team. Heidrun has the ability to create structure in complex environments. She also has a great strategic understanding of the opportunities inherent in new technology and she will bring a fresh external perspective to the development of the group,” says Furberg.
With 20 years of experience in the media industry and now several years in NAV, Heidrun looks forward to getting to know both the people and the technology at Posten Bring better.
“I am really looking forward to getting to know everyone and to exploring how technology and data can help create business value for Posten Bring. As a leader, I am committed to helping organisations succeed with interdisciplinary collaboration, where technology and business find the right solutions together. No one succeeds with digital transformation without everyone being on the same team,” says Heidrun Larsen Reisæter
Heidrun starts as Executive Vice President at Posten Bring on September 8. Morten Stødle, who is currently Executive Vice President for Digital Technology and Security, will hold the position until October 1.
“Morten has worked for 18 years at Posten Bring and has been Executive Vice President of Digital Technology and Security for the past nine years. He has been instrumental in the modernisation of Posten Bring and has been a driving force behind our almost complete move to the cloud. He has established solid and stable operations on our critical systems and established a solid security team and security culture. Morten will move into an advisory role from October, reporting directly to me,” says Furberg
Randi Bjerkeland Skagemo is an internal recruit and will be responsible for leading the group’s new major focus on customer experience. She has worked for 19 years at Posten Bring and is currently Nordic Director for Shelfless. She has previously worked in marketing, sales and business development. She has been Communications Director, Head of Strategic Value Creation and Partnerships and Acting Nordic Director for Bring Courier & Express.
“Posten Bring has succeeded in building and developing good leadership skills in several different professional environments. In a comprehensive assessment, the choice fell on Randi, who can demonstrate broad experience in leading large teams through change, she has the ability to think visionarily while also having the power to execute. She also has significant professional experience in communication and change management, while she has worked closely with marketing, sales and customer service in the roles she has held at Posten Bring. With a clear vision and direction, Randi will lead the mission of developing the customer experience professional area,” says Petter-Børre.
Posten Bring decided earlier this year to establish Customer Experience as a new corporate function. The newly created unit will consist of Customer Service, Corporate Communications, Market and Brand. It will be a dedicated environment that will strengthen the company’s position in the market by lifting and focusing work on holistic customer experiences. The unit will have a central role in the group going forward, and the new CEO points out the importance of both collaboration and offensiveness.
“I am really looking forward to starting in the role, and am pleased that the group has put Customer Experience so high on the agenda. If we are to succeed in profitable growth going forward, we must be at the forefront of customer needs and deliver services that differentiate us in the market. I believe the key lies in building bridges between business areas, technology and the front line – and together create customer experiences that excite, simplify and make a difference in everyday life,” says Skagemo.
